All I can say is "WOW!" I've seen you guys twice now (both at Nick's Fat City) and I must say I am thoroughly impressed at how well you re-enact the actual KISS shows. I wanted to pass on a little-know fact about DEUCE. After working for these boys the past couple years, they are by-far the hardest working, dedicated band you will ever see. There is so much behind the scenes work that needs done to prepare for each show, you would think every show is being played at a major arena not a local club. The preparation starts for weeks before the show and doesn't end until 3 or 4 am when everything is loaded-out & they start the long-exhausting drive home. Not to take anything away from any other band out there bustin their asses to pave their way as they deserve their props as well, but I just felt the need to mention to everyone just how hard these guys work to bring you the best show they can & give you your moneys worth. So for anyone out there that thinks these guys are lazy or take too long in 'hitting the stage' just remember they set up all their own gear, it takes them an hour + (baring costume problems) to get dressed & apply the make-up. So while you sit back & enjoy another beer - just remember it's not just their loyal fans but the 4 boys in the band that are truely WORTH A DEUCE! Love you guys!

I'd like to thank all of you for your kind words .... it really helps at this painful time of my life. I just want to let you all know a little bit about my mother. She had been successfully fighting lung cancer since June of 2001..... facing Chemo treatments, constant hospitalizations, blood transfusions & other horrors I hope none of us have to ever be exposed to. And going thru it all with not even the slightest complaint. In the end she beat the cancer, simply because she refused to let it beat her. She was the strongest woman that I will probably ever meet, facing every adversity with dignity & grace! We are all so proud of her & how she never stopped fighting right up to the end. Great show on the 13th. I was saddened at some rude comments a few patrons made concerning the band. Deuce may not be the real KISS but you got to look at the work that goes into a show like that. Billy practally makes his own guitars, and that takes heart. Kiss has always been my release from everyday life. Even when I was 7 years old, running home to play my Kiss records. I never fit in ,I was never accepted and People thought I was weird. But those who thought that were people like those patrons. If you dont like Kiss or Deuce, You never got it! Like Bill Aucoin once phrased in 76:
"Getting a hard time from your parents and the kids on your block, The Girl of your dreams still ignoring you? Well then Come voyage around the stars with Kiss! Escape your Worries, Your doubts and those Ogres for parents. Take Christeen 16 in your arms and join the Rocket ride to KISSLAND!!!!!"
It is great to share common ground with people who are into the same thing as you. When Deuce come around, Im always telling my friends about the band. My Brother even got a couple of his friends to come out on the 13th. Theres a few of my friends that may be comming out to the Blondies show in December. If I have to work a few extra hours to pay their admission Ill just do that.

I am writing this apology to Renea, Dave, & all those affected by the recent postings on the Deuce guestbook.
I personally would like to apologize for the comments made by a certain person who I trusted . I can only assume her reasoning for the postings were personally based in an effort to get my further attention .
The guestbook is a "fan forum" and personal issues should have not been posted ! I appreciate those who miss me & my "ACE" attempts, However there is a new "ACE" in Deuce and he deserves a chance . PLease keep an open mind & evaluate him only on his performance vs the actual "ACE" and not those who portrayed him .

Your "Ace" performance at Kathy's was really incredible! I know shit about actually "playing" a guitar, but I've been a KISS fan for a long time and an Ace Frehley freak ( of the KISS years & The Comet), ask Dave just how much! And from bein' the Spaceman nut that I am, I can see how well you're gettin' the act nailed from last night, so keep up the great show!

To All The Hard Working People Who've Put & Hold Deuce Together:
Let me start off by saying what you're doing for the fans out here in the world is really F**Kin' awesome, because you are a tribute to the GREATEST band in the world, ya's deserve all the praise for that alone and then some!!!! We need people like you to keep the KISS spirit "Alive!", so Thank You :-) OK, got that outta' my system, now it's time for the real psycho babble.....
I've only actually "seen" ya's perform once, about 3 months ago, I'm not from the immediate area, just happened to be around there at that time, but I do keep up with the site, check the comments, and will be seein' future shows for sure, you're not far!
I have a friend who did this for a long time as well, the KISS thing, but he hung up his Space suit this summer, at least for now and from bein' his close friend for a long time, I know for sure that it's no ordinary task, putting on a show in honor of KISS, it's unlike being in any other band, tribute, original, Top 40 covers, whatever style. I'm no musician myself, but am very well aware of all the hard work and dedication it takes to honor the Black & White Ones, and you as a band seem to have all that! Sure there have been comments made about past/present changes, i.e. Ace, but hell, it all comes with the territory and a true KISS fan and believer will realize all that and be patient and supportive of Deuce! Hopefully their constructive criticism will help you become stronger because it's obvious to me the potential's there, even after just one show I saw, and it's obvious you're out to please the fans!

Dear Fellow Deuceaholics,
I attended the Fake Fest on May 11, 2001. Paul had come up to me and we were hanging out listening to another tribute band. Gene and I talked about different matters! Peter was really nice and Ace was walking around talking with people. I received the chance to meet them without their makeup on! Unfortuntately, when it was time for them to come up their performance was cut short for some reason, but from the songs they did perform it was EXCELLENT! Here's wishing they come back around Pittsburgh and perform again int he near future!

Pittsburgh's Kiss Tribute Masters

For anyone in the Pittsburgh area upcoming Deuce shows are October 31st at Gators in Jennette, its about 45 minutes east of Pittsburgh off of Route 130, and on Nov 1st at Brothers Grim, which is about 20 minutes south of Pittsburgh off of Route 60. If you have never seen Deuce you are missing the Burgh's own Kings of the Nighttime World. The band does all of the 70's classics, plus some later tunes like I Love It Loud, Lick It Up, and Domino. Deuce has a stage show that has to be seen; 8 flashpots, 4 flame towers, a New York Groove light guitar, a light up Deuce sign that has more sequnces than any sign that Kiss ever had, NO LIE! Of course there are becons, fire spitting, blood drooling, and sound effects like the car crash at the end of Detriot Rock City.
